Green Power Technologies Demonstrated
Pine SCA Prototype

Rehovot, Israel - January 3, 2002 - Green Power Technologies Ltd. (GPT), a leader for smart, value added, solutions in the power-conversion market, today announced that it has successfully demonstrated to strategic customers and partners its Pine and Cedar prototypes demonstrating the company's innovative patent-pending Power Factor Correction (PFC) technology.

Based on an Switch Control Assembly (SCA) implementation, the Pine and Cedar prototypes are replacing a traditional complicated analog discrete-component circuit enabling a "Plug & Play" modular solution for power supply companies who have to implement the PFC unit in their new power supply designs according to new environmental standards.

"The prototype demonstrates to our customers and partners the breakthrough introduced by our SCA technology as means of cost-effectively scaling switching capacity without compromising performance," said Kobi Rosenwasser, Vice President Marketing & Sales of GPT.
