Established in 2000, Green Power Technologies Ltd. (GPT) is a
developer of "green" components and Integrated Circuits
(ICs) for the power supply and power management industries.
In 2001, we entered partnership discussions with Infineon, an
established, publicly traded German company. Due to questionable
practices by Infineon, and its vital impact on GPT, our company was
forced to enter a legal litigation battle.
Today, we are more confident than ever and we expect a positive
ruling in this matter, by the Munich Regional court.

Rehovot, Israel - October 19, 2004 - Green Power Technologies (GPT)
announces the release of its innovative Smart
Power-Factor-Correction GPTM product line.
GPT’s GPTM module is a complete Active Power Factor Correction
stage, enabling a low component count and simple solution for high
power active power factor correction. It meets and exceeds the
requirements of the standards related harmonic current injection
into the power line - now acceptable as a norm worldwide. The GPTM is a ‘matchbox’ size device that includes the entire
control circuitry as well as its auxiliary; power MOSFET and PFC
diode in one package. It is based on GPT's innovative and patented
PFC control concept and PFC modular approach. A highly reliable,
robust and efficient APFC front end can be easily and quickly
designed by just adding the external line rectifier, inductor and
the output capacitor.
